Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of general accounting experience, Senior Accountant level preferred.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Exposure to multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Experience with Planful or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial consolidations and reporting across multiple entities.
• Import, review, and reconcile trial balances using Planful.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Support intercompany reconciliations and eliminations as part of the consolidation process.
• Perform variance analysis and investigate financial discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Work with multiple accounting systems to research transactions and reconcile financial information.
• Partner with the Controller and accounting team to resolve issues and support reporting needs.
• Assist with additional accounting projects and responsibilities as needed.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for an interim opportunity with a manufacturing company in Hartland, WI. This individual will support the Corporate Controller with monthly financial consolidations, reporting, and general accounting activities.

The ideal candidate brings a solid accounting foundation, hands‑on experience with month-end close and consolidations, and the ability to work independently across multiple entities and accounting systems. This is a hands‑on accounting role with the heaviest workload concentrated around the monthly close cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial consolidations and reporting across multiple entities.
• Import, review, and reconcile trial balances using Planful.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Support intercompany reconciliations and eliminations as part of the consolidation process.
