Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in preparing timely and accurate monthly financial statements for the company and its subsidiary entities.
• General Ledger Management: Manage general ledger entries and perform trial balance reconciliations for multiple entities.
• Closing Procedures: Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Bank Reconciliations: Prepare bank reconciliations for various entities.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and compile data for state and local tax returns as needed.
• Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation of documents for annual audits of the various entities.
• Internal Controls: Ensure all requirements are met and documentation is maintained related to internal controls.
• Reporting: Create specialized Sage 300 CRE and Excel reports as requested and required.
• General Accounting Duties: Perform additional general accounting, finance, and other duties as assigned.
• Project Cost Accounting: Manage project cost accounting tasks.

Qualifications Desired:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting; experience in a construction company is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent ability in Excel; experience with Sage 300 CRE is preferred.
• Work Environment: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction.
• Attention to Detail: Proven attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation of work.
• Team Collaboration: Self-motivated with a preference for working in a team environment.
