Job summary

SGA Dental Partners seeks a Senior Accountant to ensure the integrity of financial data, support monthly close, and contribute to reporting for a fast-growing dental services organization.

You will work with Sage Intacct and multi-entity accounting, participate in audits, budgets, and integration of acquisitions, while driving process improvements and maintaining strict control standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
  • 5+ years in corporate accounting.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and multi-entity close.

Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end close by posting journals and reconciling accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements and variance analyses for budgeting.
  • Assist with audits and tax return preparation.
  • Support integration of acquired entities and ERP system familiarity.
  • Identify process improvements and drive efficiencies.

Job description

SGA Dental Partners is hiring a Senior Accountant. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity and validity of financial data used to generate financial statements and management reports. This position will provide an opportunity to join a successful, rapidly growing dental services organization that has partnered with a reputable private equity investor in the industry. The Senior Accountant will have opportunities to develop skills in many different areas, including financial reporting, M&A integration, cash and expense management, and dental services operations.Key Responsibilities:Play a key role in the company’s month-end close process by posting journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and producing financial statements and related reportingCollaborate with the company’s Finance team to perform monthly variance analysis and support the company’s annual budget processAssist with annual financial statement audit and tax preparation processesSupport the financial/accounting integration of acquired companiesDevelop expertise in company’s accounting system (Sage Intacct) and other key systemsIdentify and drive potential process improvements and efficienciesAssist with other critical projects as neededAll other accounting duties within the position level and authority.Assumes and executes additional responsibilities as assigned.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Strong knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills and team spiritThoroughness and attention to detailStrong analytical skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsEducation/ Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles (corporate accounting preferred)Experience with Sage IntacctGeneral ledger and month-end close experienceExperience working in a multi-entity corporate environmentBenefits We Offer:Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO)401(k) Retirement Plan Health and Vision InsuranceEmployer-Paid Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Care.com Membership & Employee Assistance ProgramSupplemental Coverage (Disability, Critical Illness, Accident)Career Growth and Development OpportunitiesThis role is required to office full time at our Corporate Headquarters in Richmond Hill, GA.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.In hometown communities, SGA Dental Partners is a beacon of positive energy, delivering the highest level of clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
