Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure the integrity of financial data used for statements and management reports. You will support month-end close, variance analysis, audits, and integration of acquisitions.

The role offers growth within a rapidly expanding dental services organization partnered with a private equity investor, with full-time in-office work at the corporate headquarters in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 5+ years progressive accounting experience (corporate accounting preferred).
• Experience with Sage Intacct and general ledger/month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in month-end close by posting journal entries, preparing reconciliations, and producing financial statements.
• Collaborate on monthly variance analysis and annual budgeting process.
• Assist with annual audits and tax preparation.
• Support financial/accounting integration of acquisitions.
• Develop expertise in the Sage Intacct system and other key systems.
• Identify and drive process improvements and efficiencies.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
