Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions, ensuring precise financial records and leading month-end and year-end close activities.

The role requires strong GL experience and hands-on work with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and mid-sized ERP systems. You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and support financial reporting, budgeting, and audits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Strong experience with General Ledger Accounting, Account Reconciliations, Financial Reporting Junk Entries and Accruals, Balance Sheet Analysis.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Other Mid-Sized ERP System, and Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet, bank, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger transactions.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and schedules.
• Maintain GAAP-compliant accounting records and policies.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• Support system optimization and improvements within QuickBooks and Sage Intacct.

Salary Range

$85,000 - $100,000 annually

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant.This role will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, leading month-end and year-end close activities, and supporting financial reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger experience, excellent reconciliation skills, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, medium sized ERP system

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account adjustments.
• Perform and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data and investigate account variances.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or CPA candidate.
• Experience supporting external audits.
• Multi-entity and/or multi-location accounting experience.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
