A growing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and support accurate financial reporting. This role focuses on close activities, reconciliations, and improving financial processes within a project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger activity and review journal entries and subledger postings
• Lead month‑end close, including balance sheet reconciliations
• Track expenses and ensure proper coding and accuracy
• Support payroll processing and perform periodic payroll reconciliations
• Assist with project financial tracking, including cost analysis and billing review
• Prepare financial data for reporting, budgeting, and audits
• Monitor fixed assets and maintain supporting records
• Identify and improve accounting processes and workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with general ledger and project-based accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Deltek experience preferred)
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
