Job summary

Job description

A well-established, privately-held manufacturer of custom industrial equipment is looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager. This company designs, builds, and installs its own equipment for customers across the country, all out of a single Peachtree City location. After a period of rapid growth, the business is stable and performing well. With extremely low turnover or high employee tenure, this is a rare opportunity to step into a well-run finance function at a company built for the long haul.

What You'll Do

• Own the day-to-day accounting: all journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations
• Handle sales and use tax filings across 20-25 states (roughly a week a month of focus)
• Support project accounting for equipment builds and installations (budgeting is not a primary focus of this role)
• Work in ComputerEase (construction accounting software) — prior experience helpful but not required, we'll train

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on accounting background — comfortable owning the full cycle, not just reviewing
• Some sales and use tax experience preferred
• Experience in construction services or manufacturing industries preferred
• Currently a Senior Accountant or similar? You don't need prior direct management experience — we're happy to develop the right person into this role
• $85,000 - $110,000 base, commensurate with experience
• Bonus eligibility tied to company performance
• 401(k) with 6% company match
• Choice of a high-deductible HSA plan or a more traditional, lower-deductible PPO plan — both competitive
• 3 weeks PTO to start, increasing to 5 weeks (inclusive of sick time) after 3 years

Location & Schedule

• Peachtree City, GA — fully on-site, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
• This is not a remote or hybrid role
