SearchLogic Recruiting LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant / Senior Financial Analyst for a hybrid role in the Atlanta/Marietta area. The company is privately held and in an aggressive growth phase, broadening the finance function during a major ERP conversion from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics.

Open to Senior Accountant or Senior Financial Analyst candidates with strong technical fundamentals and a readiness to grow with the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in accounting or financial analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or progress toward CPA a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Own core month-end close activities — journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, helping tell the story behind the numbers.
• Support the ERP conversion from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics, including process documentation and data integrity checks.
• Assist with acquisition-related accounting as the company adds new entities to the portfolio.
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership on ad hoc financial analysis.
• Help build and refine processes and controls as the finance team scales.

Senior Accountant / Senior Financial Analyst — Powers Ferry / Atlanta/Marietta, GA (Hybrid)

Our client is a private equity-backed company in an aggressive growth phase — think a five-year plan built around acquisitions, a company that's scaling fast, and a finance team that's about to modernize its whole tech stack (they're kicking off a conversion from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics). If you want a seat where you'll actually help build the accounting function rather than just maintain it, this is that seat.

We're open to candidates coming from either a Senior Accountant or Senior Financial Analyst background — what matters more is strong technical fundamentals and the appetite to grow with a company that's moving quickly.

What You’ll Do

• Own core month-end close activities — journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, helping tell the story behind the numbers
• Support the ERP conversion from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics, including process documentation and data integrity checks

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong Excel skills; ERP/general ledger system experience a plus (Dynamics experience is a bonus, not a requirement)
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment where priorities shift as the company grows
• Sharp attention to detail balanced with the ability to zoom out and see the bigger picture
• CPA or progress toward CPA a plus, not required
• Base salary up to $90K
