Leoforce in Pasadena is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our energetic Retail/wholesale team. The role focuses on cash applications, cash reconciliation, payables, and vendor management within a fast-paced environment.

We require a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience and strong analytical as well as communication skills to convey financial concepts clearly to non-financial audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash applications and cash reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
• Manage payables and ensure timely financial obligations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
• Analyze financial data and present reports accurately and timely.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our energetic team in the Retail/wholesale industry. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to bring your expertise to a thriving and fast-paced setting. The successful candidate will play a significant role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of our business, including cash applications, cash reconciliation, payables, and vendor management.

1. Overseeing all cash applications and cash reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
2. Managing payables and ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner.
3. Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
4. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
5. Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations and ensuring all accounting activities align with the set financial laws and guidelines.
6. Proactively analyzing financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
7. Collaborating with the financial team and other business units to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Participating in special projects and performing ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.

8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound financial decisions.
9. Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and meet deadlines.
