About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to perform daily accounting functions in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
This role requires flexibility, sound judgement and the ability to make timely business decisions while maintaining a strong focus on safeguarding Company assets.
You’ll work collaboratively across the Accounting team, supporting colleagues, adapting to evolving priorities and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.
This role is hybrid, with a four-day in-office expectation at our HQ in Carlsbad, CA.
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger Maintenance & Month-End Close
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly journal entries across areas including inventory, direct-to-consumer transactions, intercompany, foreign exchange, monthly provisions and leases.
- Prepare monthly accruals and estimates.
- Own the commissions and royalty process, including contract review, calculations and communication.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
- Review and approve the work of other team members prior to posting in the general ledger.
- Provide financial reporting analysis for month-end flux analyses.
- Review and approve AR, AP and GL postings as required.
- Prepare and print physical checks as needed.
- Review incoming mail for vendor invoices, government correspondence and other important documents.
- Assist with responses to government agency correspondence.
- Partner with the Accounting Manager to improve and accelerate month-end processes.
Audit Support
- Prepare PBC schedules as requested by auditors.
- Provide supporting documentation and respond to audit inquiries.
- Support additional ad hoc audit requests as required.

Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Accounting is required.
- 3–5+ years of experience working as part of a high-performance accounting team.
- Previous public accounting experience preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to recognise and respond quickly to changing work demands.
- Goal-oriented approach with the ability to remain focused on delivering strong results and building successful teams.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with Full Circle and Acumatica preferred.
