Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR, and payroll.
• Sage Intacct experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, complex formulas).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Leadership mindset with mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller in ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of financial statements.
• Manage general ledger activities, including monthly journal entries, accruals, supporting schedules, and account reconciliations.
• Perform cash management activities and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Assist with payroll-related duties and processes.
• Research and resolve accounting issues through analytical problem-solving and technical accounting research.
• Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to internal control requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and efficiencies.
• Participate in ERP/accounting system enhancements and automation initiatives.
• Assist with financial analysis and other accounting projects as needed.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as delegated by management.

We are seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in Anaheim, CA. This position will play an important role in managing the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes while working closely with the Controller.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, AP, AR, and payroll
• Experience with Sage Intacct required
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration with an accounting concentration, or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and efficient
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated interest in process improvement and developing accounting systems and controls
• Leadership mindset with the ability and desire to mentor junior staff

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
