Qualifications

Kforce's client, a local public accounting firm in Paramus, NJ, is seeking a Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for taxes & accounting for clients. This firm offers a good work life balance along with opportunity to advance. This role is hybrid & is 3 days in the office. Responsibilities:

• Prepare partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and individual tax returns
• Identify and execute tax planning opportunities
• Assist with client accounting and tax engagements and work with staff to deliver year-round accounting and tax services
• Provide research support and work with managers and partners on client technical matters
• Iinteract and maintain relationships with clients, performing accounting, tax, and consulting services
• Assist, train and mentor staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Active CPA License is preferred or parts past
• 3+ years of Public accounting tax experience; The more diverse the better
• Proficient in Lacerte is preferred. Experience with QuickBooks, and MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Possess an entrepreneurial -go getter- attitude

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
