Atrium Staffing LLC is partnering with a reputable organization to hire a Senior Accountant. This newly created role reports to finance leadership and offers a stable path for up-and-coming professionals.

You will handle general ledger accounting, assist in monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analysis, and support budget to actual reviews. 3+ years experience, public accounting preferred, Bachelor's in Accounting; CPA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience (preferably public)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system
• Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records, files and reconciling accounts
• Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Accomplish accounting and organizational objectives by completing related results as needed
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations
• Calculate monthly accruals
• Help prepare actual-to-budget and forecast variance analysis

Position Overview:
