Bivoh Recruiting is proud to partner with a manufacturing organization in the search for a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional. This full-time, onsite role plays a critical part in ensuring adherence to accounting policies across departments, maintaining internal controls, and overseeing key financial functions including cash management, accounting, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organization’s accounting policy compliance efforts, guiding cross-functional departments on best practices.
• Manage daily cash reconciliations and forecasting; administer Positive Pay for fraud prevention.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable processes and partner with the Commercial team to resolve overdue accounts.
• Manage customer product returns and assess new customer credit references; recommend appropriate payment terms.
• Maintain and reconcile Fixed Assets and Lease schedules in compliance with IFRS 16.
• Handle Intercompany transactions and various assigned general ledger accounts.
• Process monthly accruals and amortizations based on supporting schedules.
• Oversee payroll accounting, including related accruals and adjustments.
• Provide insurance renewal recommendations and reconcile related payroll deductions.
• Take a lead role in internal and external audits, including Workers’ Compensation, 401(k), and year-end financial audits.
• Support annual tax filings and budget preparation as needed.
• Prepare the monthly financial reporting package and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Establish, maintain, and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Serve as an internal resource to interpret accounting policy and provide operational guidance.

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong emphasis in Cost Accounting within a manufacturing environment
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS 16
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with a results-driven mindset
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with throughput accounting is a plus
• High level of integrity, initiative, and independence
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
