Leoforce is seeking a Senior Accountant in Oklahoma City to join our energy-focused team. This permanent, full-time position requires mid-level experience, strong GAAP expertise, and the ability to manage complex financial processes.

The role involves preparing financial statements, cash forecasting, and leading reporting while collaborating with auditors and supporting budgeting efforts. Candidates should have 5+ years’ accounting experience and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s or CPA a plus).
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in energy.
• Proficient in financial reporting and cash accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and related regulations.
• Excellent analytical and detail-oriented abilities.
• Strong MS Excel skills and accounting software proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on large, complex projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and timely decision-making abilities.
• High integrity and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements in line with GAAP.
• Manage cash accounting, cash flow forecasting, and recording of cash transactions.
• Lead financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
• Perform variance analyses and prepare reconciliations.
• Conduct complex financial analyses and reporting of performance.
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide requested documents.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. Responsibilities

• 1. Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• 2. Managing the cash accounting process, including cash flow forecasting, and ensuring that all cash transactions are accurately recorded.
• 3. Leading the financial reporting processes, including internal and external reporting, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• 4. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• 5. Performing variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations.
• 6. Conducting complex financial analysis and reporting on financial performance.
• 7. Collaborating with external auditors, providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
• 8. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
• 9. Providing financial insights and recommendations to the management for decision-making purposes.

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification would be a plus.
• 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field, preferably within the energy industry.
• 3. Proficient in financial reporting, cash accounting, and other related accounting practices.
• 4. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
• 5. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• 6. Strong computer skills, particularly with accounting software and MS Excel.
• 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 8. Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and meet deadlines.
• 9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• 10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
