Job summary

PulteGroup is seeking a skilled accounting professional to join our finance team in North Charleston, SC. You will handle monthly journal entries, assist with financial reporting and cash flow projections, and ensure accurate accounting classifications across the division.

This role requires a minimum bachelor’s in finance or accounting, at least three years of experience, strong analytical abilities, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent in related field).
• Minimum 3 years general accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting theory and practice.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly journal entries.
• Assists with the preparation of monthly financial reports and cash flow projections.
• Verifies accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications within the financial statements.
• Coordinates accounting matters with other departments within the division.
• Coordinates work efforts with National Shared Services.
• Prepares supporting documentation for the Division's SOX binders.
