Job summary

PulteGroup is seeking a Finance/Accounting professional for its Minnesota operations. The role focuses on preparing monthly journal entries, supporting financial reports, and ensuring SOX documentation is complete and accurate.

You will collaborate with multiple departments and National Shared Services to maintain strong internal controls. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, at least 3 years of accounting experience, and solid analytical and

Responsibilities

  • Prepares monthly journal entries.
  • Assists with the preparation of monthly financial reports and cash flow projections.
  • Verifies accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications within the financial statements.
  • Coordinates accounting matters with other departments within the division.
  • Coordinates work efforts with National Shared Services.
  • Prepares supporting documentation for the Division's SOX binders.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepares monthly journal entries

REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent in related field)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 3 years general accounting or finance experience
  • Strong Knowledge of accounting theory and practice
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under time pressure

PAY RANGE $68,600 - $85,800 per year Hired applicant will be eligible for annual bonus
