Our Midtown West Media Client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team. The client is a household name. They work from home Mondays / Fridays and are in the office Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Interesting work + very good growth potential. Very good team in place. Role is open due to Promotion.

Responsibilities

• This role will have shared responsibility for general accounting and financial planning and analysis
• Participate in Monthly Close and Year-end Close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
• Complete balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Provide support for planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Maintain internal control and audit standards
• Assist Controller with supporting documentation during various audits
• Ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed
• Exposure to full-cycle internal accounting process and financial planning and analysis

Qualifications

• 2+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CPA or Parts Passed Required
• Big 4 Experience required
