We are currently seeking candidates for a Temporary Senior Corporate Accountant at a private equity firm located in New York, NY, 10013.

Temporary Senior Corporate Accountant

We are currently seeking candidates for a Temporary Senior Corporate Accountant at a private equity firm located in New York, NY, 10013.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant corporate accounting and month-end experience, preferably in the asset management industry.

Recent Experience With NetSuite Is Required.

This is a 3+ month temporary role with an opportunity for extension and/or permanent.

1 day on-site per week.

Hourly Pay Rate: Up to $65.00 per hour based on relative work experience within a 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities:

• Post daily cash activity
• Reconcile Accounts Payable
• Reconcile Bank Statements
• Wire payment transactions
• Perform Journal Entries and Adjustments
• Reconcile General Ledger Accounts
• Assist in month-end close responsibilities
• Analyze financial data
• Prepare financial reports
• Assist with audits
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Recent experience with NetSuite is required
• CPA license (preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience in corporate accounting and month end responsibilities
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong sense of urgency
• Strong attention to detail
• Deadline driven and strong time management skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot table/look up)
