Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP financial systems.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes; prepare GAAP financial statements.
• Prepare and review journal entries; reconcile balance sheets and income statements.
• Perform inventory reconciliations, valuation, reserve analyses, and standard cost review.
• Analyze variances and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with operations, production, engineering, and supply chain teams to streamline financial workflows.
• Assist with annual audits and state/local tax filings; maintain internal controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, ERP planning and reporting enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Financial Close & Reporting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes; prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• General Ledger Management: Prepare and review journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and perform balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.
• Inventory Accounting: Perform inventory reconciliations, valuation, reserve analyses, and standard cost review.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze operating results, investigate financial variances, and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, production, engineering, and supply chain teams to streamline financial workflows.
• Audits & Compliance: Assist with annual audit preparation, state/local tax filings, and maintain compliance with internal controls and GAAP guidelines.
• Systems & Planning: Support budgeting and forecasting, and assist with ERP system optimization and reporting enhancements.
