Job summary

Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee nonprofit accounting, grant compliance, budgeting, payroll support, and strong internal controls. This role partners with leadership, staff, funders, and auditors to ensure accurate financial operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining ledgers, grant billing, month-end close, reporting, and audits. The ideal candidate has nonprofit experience, Excel proficiency, and excellent organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Four (4)+ years of accounting experience, preferably nonprofit.
• Experience with grant accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
