You will lead monthly and year-end close, prepare and review reconciliations, and support internal financial reporting. This role offers an employee ownership program with company stock, and a salary of $75,000–$85,000.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• GAAP knowledge, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and maintain the general ledger.
• Lead monthly and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support financial reporting and analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Support AP/AR and identify process improvements.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting activity while ensuring the general ledger is complete, accurate, and up to date
• Lead and support the monthly and year-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Prepare and review account reconciliations while researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis while providing accurate accounting information to internal stakeholders
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes

Salary: $75,000-85,000
