Job summary

Ledgent is seeking a Senior Accountant skilled in G/L analysis, journal entries, and financial statement analysis to support budgeting and forecasting efforts. The role will be responsible for preparing and producing accurate balance sheets and collaborating with department managers.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting or Finance, 2–5 years of general accounting experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of general accounting or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of financial statements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with department managers.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite; Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, formulas).
• CPA is preferred.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum two to five (2-5) years of general accounting or equivalent experience
• Must have a solid understanding of financial statements
• Able to communicate effectively with department managers.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Strong attention to detail while producing accurate and high-quality work.
• Able multi-task in a fast pace, demanding work environment.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite: (Excel, Word and Outlook). Advanced knowledge of Excel (V look ups, formulas, etc.) is a must
• CPA is preferred
