Job summary

Withum in Lincolnshire, IL is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our BEA team on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office). You will analyze financial statements, assess risks, and advise on cost reduction and revenue enhancement for private and public clients.

The role requires a CPA background (preferred) with 3+ years in a local or mid-sized CPA firm; experience with high-volume statements and strong communication and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a business-related field.
• CPA license preferred, or working towards CPA certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a local or mid-sized CPA firm or tax practice; F&B experience is a plus.
• Experience handling high volumes of financial statements with tight deadlines.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and staying current on key laws.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and technical skills.
• Outstanding client service and communication abilities.
• Strong mentoring and training skills to support staff and managers.

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance.
