Job summary

Withum’s Tax Services Group is seeking a Tax Supervisor to lead on diverse tax engagements, overseeing planning, execution, and review of returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals in a hybrid Lincolnshire, IL area and Northeast offices. You will mentor staff, ensure timely delivery, and foster strong client relationships across engagements.

You should have a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA certification (or progress toward it), and 4+ years in public accounting with excellent

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Licensed CPA or working towards CPA certification with parts passed.
• Masters of Science in Taxation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex C corp., S corp., and partnership tax returns.
• Prepare high net worth individual tax returns and review mid-level returns.
• Research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and help resolve tax controversies.
• Train and supervise staff accountants and maintain client relationships.

This Tax Supervisor role will be based out of our **Lincolnshire, IL; East Brunswick, NJ; Princeton, NJ, Red Bank, NJ, or Whippany, NJ office****.** You'll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned, well-known CPAs and industry leaders. In this position, you will take a lead role on all aspects of audit engagements, from planning to completion, to include supervision/mentoring of staff and building/maintaining relationships with clients.
