Job summary

Randstad USA is assisting a fast-growing technology company headquartered in Las Vegas in their search for a Senior Accountant. The role reports to finance leadership and supports audit-ready U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.

The candidate will lead SEC disclosures, collaborate with Legal and FP&A, and drive process improvements with automation to strengthen controls and scalability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience with CPA preferred.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Draft and maintain complex technical accounting memos and policies.
• Coordinate quarterly/annual SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) with finance and auditors.

salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Lead the research, drafting, and maintenance of complex technical accounting memos and U.S. GAAP/SEC policies to deliver clear, audit-ready conclusions to leadership.
• Partner across financial reporting functions to prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K), ensuring complete alignment between technical positions and footnote disclosures.
• Monitor emerging FASB and SEC accounting standards, evaluating their impact and translating new compliance requirements into operational practices.
• Act as a key technical liaison across internal finance, legal, and external audit teams to streamline reporting and filing cycles.
• Drive continuous improvement and reporting automation to strengthen financial controls, scalability, and efficiency.

Experience

• 4+ years of accounting experience backed by a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting and an active CPA license.
• Deep grounding in U.S. GAAP research and public company financial reporting, with hands-on experience navigating SEC disclosure mechanics and reporting software
• Strong written and verbal communicator skilled at translating technical accounting concepts for non-technical partners, including Legal, FP&A, and external auditors.
