Responsibilities

1. Support the month-end financial reporting process, including expense review, general accruals, expense report accruals, and late invoice accruals.
2. Generate preliminary reports to ensure accurate monthly closing, assist managers with exception reporting and corrections.
3. Maintain a robust internal control environment, including preparation and review of account reconciliations and analytical investigations.
4. Track research & development, accounting, and reporting activities.
5. Assist with year-end close functions.
6. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to requests.
7. Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers and monitor operating expenses.
8. Participate in various ad-hoc projects as assigned.
9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
10. Analyze workflows and procedures for potential enhancements and streamlining.

For Illinois residents: The estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annually, determined by experience, skills, and qualifications.
