Job summary

Tyvan LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to report to the Accounting Manager and manage all accounting activities and financial reporting in support of GAAP compliance. The role includes general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and assisting with audits, all based in Houston, TX.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in accounting, 5–10 years in healthcare, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• 5-10 years of experience in a Healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports and maintain the general ledger.
• Review assigned facilities and reconcile bank accounts.
• Assist with audit preparations and documentation for auditors.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and fixed asset analysis.
• Recommend process improvements and cross-train within the team.
