Job summary

CHC Hydro is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead daily accounting operations, oversee general ledger reconciliations, and support the CFO and Controller. You will manage cash reporting, inventory, sales tax compliance, and multi‑state payroll.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of hands‑on experience, ERP systems expertise (NetSuite preferred), and strong Excel skills. Onsite role in Hayward, CA with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite highly preferred) and multi-state payroll platforms (ADP Workforce Now).
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Cost accounting or manufacturing/construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger account reconciliations (cash, prepaids, leases, accrued expenses, inventory, and deferred revenue).
• Perform daily bank reconciliations to maintain cash flow reporting.
• Coordinate state and city business licenses, property tax, and sales tax filings (Avalara).
• Provide analytical support during monthly financial statement reviews and assist external auditors.
• Support multi-state bi-weekly payroll journal entries and serve as backup coverage for payroll processing.

Schedule: Day Shift | Flexible start times: 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 / year (DOE)

Role Overview
