A well-established company in Baltimore is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing Accounting Department. The role involves financial reporting, preparation of journal entries, and communication with stakeholders. Candidates should have at least 3 years of accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. This position offers a stable work environment with a competitive salary of $110,000 per year.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting including general ledger account reconciliations.
• Develops forecasts using multiple assumptions.
• Coordinates quarterly dividend payable with the Treasury Department.
• Prepare journal entries for monthly close.
• Prepares month‑end reports, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and required items for financial close to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to defined standards.
• Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
• Assists with accounting‑related projects and accounting research on an as‑needed basis.
• Records quarterly employee stock purchase plan transactions.
• Maintain clear communication paths with stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Base pay range

Basic Qualifications
