Job Title: Senior Accountant

A relatively new PE company in Midtown is building out its accounting department and adding a Senior Accountant. Exciting times at this growing company, and this Senior will have their hands in many different areas, such as financial reporting, general ledger, and audit assistance, among others.

1. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accurately.
2. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations for accurate reporting.
3. Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with IFRS and GAAP.
4. Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
5. Identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. CPA certification preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
