Job summary

Role Description

The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in the Gainesville Metropolitan Area. This position is responsible for overseeing general ledger activities, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate month-end and year-end closings. The Senior Accountant will manage accounts payable and receivable processes, reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, and support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining compliance with GAAP, assisting with audits and tax filings, and developing and improving internal financial controls and procedures. The role collaborates closely with operations, project management, and leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and long-term business growth.

• Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management to support business planning and operational decision-making.
