Job description

Soni is partnering with a growing organization to identify a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting team in Franklin, TN. This is a fully onsite role offering strong visibility, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to play a key role in the company’s financial reporting and close processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, a passion for applying accounting principles, and the ability to analyze financial data for accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and post journal entries based on detailed financial analysis
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Compile and review financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist with state and local tax filings, including sales & use and property taxes
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Partner with the Accounting Manager and leadership on reporting, analysis, and special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 4+ years of general accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• ERP system experience required (D365 a plus)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Fully onsite role in Franklin, TN (not hybrid/remote)
