• Experience preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Solid variance analysis and financial statement knowledge.
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and core accounting principles.
• Intercompany accounting experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Motivated, self-directed work style with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities for assigned entities.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.

A growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team in Brentwood, TN. This newly created role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting functions, support multiple operating entities, and serve as a trusted resource within a small, collaborative team. The position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working independently, solving complex accounting issues, and contributing to process improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities for assigned entities
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules

• Experience with Great Plains or similar ERP systems
