Job summary

Friedman Williams is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Palm Beach Gardens office. This role supports accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while acting as payroll backup. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in the legal industry and strong proficiency with Aderant Expert.

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Finance Manager, ensuring accurate financial statements and timely reporting in a fast-paced law firm environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 5+ years of legal industry accounting experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and law firm accounting practices.
• Experience supporting payroll operations and payroll backup.

A multi-service law firm offering a broad range of legal services is seeking a Senior Accountant in their Palm Beach Gardens.

Candidates must be able to assist with accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while serving as a backup for payroll processing. The ideal candidate brings legal industry experience, strong accounting expertise, and deep proficiency in Aderant Expert. The candidate will work closely with and report to the Finance Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in the legal industry, preferably within a mid-sized or large law firm.
• 5+ years of accounting and/or finance experience, with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Strong proficiency in Aderant Expert or similar legal accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and law firm accounting practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Experience supporting payroll operations and acting as a payroll backup.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
