Integra Realty Resources, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our commercial real-estate franchise accounting services by maintaining accurate records, preparing and reviewing reports, and ensuring timely completion of accounting activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. Professional services experience is a plus.
  • CPA or other certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly financial statements, schedules, and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • General Ledger & Reconcilations: Maintain and review general ledger activity and account reconciliations; research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Month-End & Year-End Close: Support close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze results, identify trends and variances, and provide clear explanations of performance.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Review AP/AR activity and ensure transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Data Accuracy & Quality Control: Review financial data and reports for completeness and accuracy; resolve issues with relevant team members.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and support improvements in accounting processes, reporting, efficiency, and internal controls through automation and better procedures.
  • Technology & AI: Use technology and AI-enabled tools to support analysis, reporting, and documentation, while validating outputs for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Communication: Provide timely, professional support to internal teams, leadership, and clients.
  • Special Projects: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, system implementations, and other accounting initiatives as needed.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Senior Accountant to join our commercial real-estate franchise accounting services team. This role supports local franchisees accounting and financial reporting by maintaining accurate records, preparing and reviewing reports, and ensuring timely, accurate completion of all accounting activities.


The Senior Accountant will collaborate with the accounting team and leadership to analyze financial data, resolve discrepancies, and deliver insights that support business decisions. The ideal candidate has strong accounting expertise, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication and analytical skills.
This role also requires an interest in using technology, automation, and AI tools to improve accounting processes and reporting, while applying sound professional judgment.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. Professional services experience is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excell and Office Suite.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems; Acumatica experience is a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred:

  • Experience with financial analysis and management reporting.
  • Exposure to process improvement, automation, or accounting system implementations.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar, with interest in applying them to accounting work.
  • CPA or other certification is a plus but not required.
