Job summary

Integra Realty Resources, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our commercial real-estate franchise accounting services by maintaining accurate records, preparing and reviewing reports, and ensuring timely completion of accounting activities.

The role collaborates with the accounting team and leadership to analyze financial data, resolve discrepancies, and deliver insights that support business decisions, with an interest in applying automation and AI tools to improve

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. Professional services experience is a plus.
CPA or other certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly financial statements, schedules, and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
General Ledger & Reconcilations: Maintain and review general ledger activity and account reconciliations; research and resolve discrepancies.
Month-End & Year-End Close: Support close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Financial Analysis: Analyze results, identify trends and variances, and provide clear explanations of performance.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Review AP/AR activity and ensure transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Data Accuracy & Quality Control: Review financial data and reports for completeness and accuracy; resolve issues with relevant team members.
Process Improvement: Identify and support improvements in accounting processes, reporting, efficiency, and internal controls through automation and better procedures.
Technology & AI: Use technology and AI-enabled tools to support analysis, reporting, and documentation, while validating outputs for accuracy and appropriateness.
Communication: Provide timely, professional support to internal teams, leadership, and clients.
Special Projects: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, system implementations, and other accounting initiatives as needed.
