Job summary

NeuroNav is seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager in Cincinnati, OH to support their finance team on a project basis. The role requires 5+ years of experience managing the accounting cycle, with strong proficiency in ERP systems and GAAP.

This is a hands-on position where the candidate will operate autonomously, identifying process improvements and efficiencies within the team. On-site work at the client’s Cincinnati office is required.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of month-end and year-end close processes.
• Experience supporting audits and working with external auditors is a plus.

Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager — Project Engagement

One of our Cincinnati-based clients is looking for an experienced accounting professional to join their team on a project basis. This is a hands‑on role supporting a finance organization through a period of elevated volume and operational transition — with real opportunity to make an impact beyond just executing the work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing day‑to‑day accounting responsibilities for an established finance team
• Identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies
• Operating as a senior‑level contributor from day one — minimal ramp time, high autonomy

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of accounting experience; Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager background
• Strong command of the full accounting cycle — GL management, month‑end and year‑end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany transactions
• Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Excel
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Experience supporting audits and working with external auditors a plus
• Comfortable stepping into an active environment and getting up to speed quickly
• Strong process orientation — you don’t just do the work, you make the work better
• Ability to work on‑site at the client’s Cincinnati office

Engagement Details

• Project-based, employment through Reserve Squad
• Initial commitment of 3+ months, with possibility of extension
• On‑site preferred
