Job summary

Vaco is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant for our Chicago, IL location. This direct hire, onsite role focuses on journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany activity, and supporting month-end reporting and audits.

The candidate should have 3-5 years of accounting experience, a strong grasp of U.S. GAAP, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Salary: 90-115,000/yr + Bonus

Position Summary

The Sr Corporate Accountant supports the corporate accounting function by preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations, and by contributing to month-end financial reporting and analysis. This role works closely with the Assistant Controller to support the annual audit, identify process improvements, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of general accounting activity across the organization.
