Vaco is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant for our Chicago, IL location. This direct hire, onsite role focuses on journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany activity, and supporting month-end reporting and audits.

The candidate should have 3-5 years of accounting experience, a strong grasp of U.S. GAAP, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

• Prepare journal entries
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and rollforwards
• Support the annual audit
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
• Support month-end financial reporting and other analysis
• Identify and propose accounting process improvements and enhancements
• Review variances between actual and budget results
• Review general ledger activity for accuracy and completeness
• Support other corporate accounting activities as needed
