Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Analyze financial results and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support financial reporting requirements and management reporting initiatives
• Assist with compliance related to government contracts and regulatory requirements
• Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure efficient financial operations
• Support external audits and provide documentation as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
