Job summary

Our client in Canonsburg, PA is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing manufacturing company. This onsite role focuses on month-end close, general ledger accuracy, and supporting AP/AR processes. You will contribute to financial reporting and maintain compliance with government contract regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of manufacturing accounting experience, with strong Excel and QuickBooks skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
• Assist with financial reporting and internal documentation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government contract regulations.

Staff Accountant Key Responsibilities

• The Staff Accountant will assist with month-end close, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
