We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established and growing organization in the Brooksville/Dade City area. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking for a stable company, strong benefits, and a role with meaningful responsibility.

The Senior Accountant will be involved in the day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while partnering with management.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting and month-end close activities
• Prepare and review account reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and monthly management reports
• Analyze account balances and investigate variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash activity as needed
• Prepare and record journal entries and accruals
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
• Assist with year-end close and external audit/tax preparation
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls
• Work closely with management and other departments on accounting-related matters
• Perform other accounting and financial analysis duties as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements
• Experience with QuickBooks required
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
