Job summary

StevenDouglas and a growing biopharmaceutical company are seeking a Senior Accountant. This role is hybrid (onsite 3x per week) and focuses on close, general ledger, and inventory accounting. The position requires hands-on interaction with Operations and Manufacturing partners.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing, strong costing and fixed assets knowledge, and familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle. CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing organization with understanding of inventory accounting, costing accounting and fixed assets.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong ERP knowledge (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the close process and maintain the general ledger with a focus on inventory accounting.
• Partner with Operations and Manufacturing to ensure accurate costing and asset tracking.

StevenDouglas has partnered with a growing publicly traded biopharmaceutical organization on their search for a Senior Accountant. This role is hybrid (3x per week onsite) and does not offer any relocation or remote options.

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for core accounting operations including the close and general ledge with a particular focus on inventory accounting. This is a hands-on position that requires heavy interaction with both external and internal business partners within Operations and Manufacturing. A strong background in a manufacturing organization is a must for this role.
