Purpose Brands, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to support monthly close, revenue recognition, and financial reporting for a multi-brand fitness organization. The role focuses on GAAP compliance, complex reconciliations, and collaboration across brands like Orangetheory, Anytime Fitness, and more.

The successful candidate will manage payroll entries, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and month-end processes, while contributing to process improvements and internal controls.

Competenze

• 3+ years of private or public accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Familiarity with financial statements (I/S, B/S, Cash Flow) and related footnotes.
• Solid understanding of general ledger functions and close processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accountant who will support the monthly close process, revenue recognition, and financial reporting for our dynamic multi-brand fitness organization. They have a strong GAAP knowledge, experience with complex reconciliations, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)

• Responsible for payroll and benefits entries and accruals

• Manages CIP and fixed asset across all brands

• Prepares journal entries, including intercompany transactions and departmental allocations

• Analyzes and reconcile complex balance sheet and income statement accounts

• Maintains the general ledger and ensure timely, accurate trial balances

• Prepares and explain actual vs. budget variance analysis

• Performs account reconciliations and support month-end reporting

• Assists with financial and tax audits

• Contributes to process improvements, policies, and internal control initiatives

• Supports the Accounting Manager with ad hoc tasks and projects

Required Qualifications

• 3 or more years of private or public accounting experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Advanced knowledge of Excel

• Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations

• Familiarity with financial statements (I/S, B/S, Cash Flow) and related footnotes

• Solid understanding of general ledger functions and close processes

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA license

• Experience with NetSuite

• Experience with Workday or payroll-related accounting

• Understanding of multi-brand accounting and allocations

Salary Range: $80k-100k
