Purpose Brands, the parent company of Orangetheory, Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City and The Bar Method, seeks a Senior Accountant to support monthly close, revenue recognition, and financial reporting for a multi-brand fitness organization.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in NetSuite and Excel. This role offers a hybrid work environment based in Boca Raton, FL with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of private or public accounting experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Familiarity with financial statements (I/S, B/S, Cash Flow).
• Strong understanding of general ledger functions and close processes.

Responsibilities

• Payroll and benefits entries and accruals.
• Manages CIP and fixed asset across all brands.
• Prepares journal entries, including intercompany transactions and allocations.
• Analyzes and reconciles complex balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Maintains the general ledger and ensures timely, accurate trial balances.
• Prepares and explains actual vs budget variance analysis.
• Performs account reconciliations and supports month-end reporting.
• Assists with financial and tax audits.
• Contributes to process improvements, policies, and internal control initiatives.
• Supports the Accounting Manager with ad hoc tasks and projects.
