We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our leading firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparation of Partnerships, S/C Corps, and estates and trusts. This role requires at least 2+ years of relevant experience.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be expected to

• Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting for partnerships, S Corporations, C Corporations, estates and trusts. 2. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Utilize UltraTax and Thompson Reuters software for financial reporting and tax preparation.
• Assist in the budgeting process and perform variance analyses to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of organizational procedures, federal and state regulations, and best practices in accounting.
• Act as a mentor to junior staff, providing guidance and fostering a positive work environment.
  
  

Job Details

The successful candidate will have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on partnerships, S/C Corps, estates and trusts.
• Proficiency in UltraTax and Thompson Reuters software.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• A proactive attitude, with a focus on continuous improvement and the ability to adapt to change.
