Job summary

CPGIO is hiring a hands-on Senior Accountant to strengthen the integrity of our general ledger, inventory accounting and monthly close as we scale. Reporting to the Controller, you will prepare complex entries and reconciliations, support financial reporting, and help build scalable processes in NetSuite.

This role offers ownership, and a chance to mentor junior staff while contributing to a fast-growing ecommerce operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience including month-end close, reconciliations and GAAP reporting.
• Strong inventory/COGS experience in ecommerce, distribution, fulfillment or similar product-based business.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with NetSuite or another ERP; QuickBooks experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and prepaids with supporting schedules.
• Own general ledger, bank, credit card and monthly sales reconciliations.
• Record inventory, reserves, COGS and multichannel ecommerce activity including marketplace settlements, fees and returns.
• Prepare close schedules and financial statement support for a faster, more reliable close.
• Reconcile AR and billing activity to the general ledger and prepare AP accruals.
• Support sales tax compliance, external tax advisors and auditors.
• Help build NetSuite environment including design, data validation, testing and migration.
• Document close procedures, improve processes and coach junior staff.

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to strengthen the integrity of our general ledger, inventory accounting and monthly close as CPGIO scales. This role offers real ownership, a voice in shaping how our finance function grows, and the opportunity to develop junior team members.

What You’ll Do

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

5+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience, including month-end close, reconciliations and GAAP reporting

Strong inventory/COGS experience in ecommerce, distribution, fulfillment or another product-based business

Advanced Excel skills; QuickBooks experience and familiarity with NetSuite or a comparable ERP

Nice to Have

• CPA or CPA-track
• Ecommerce platform experience (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop)
• Experience reviewing or mentoring staff

Salary: 80,000–105,000, based on experience

Performance-based bonus opportunity and annual compensation reviews

Hybrid schedule: Monday–Thursday onsite in Addison, Friday remote
