Wellstar Health System in Atlanta is seeking an Account Resolution Representative II to help manage a multi-million dollar accounts receivable portfolio. You will analyze payor trends, resolve denials, and support training for follow-up staff in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires collaborative teamwork, strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office and Epic systems, with a focus on timely reimbursement and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Account Follow-up Representative I or a minimum of two years in hospital patient financial services or related area.
• Thorough understanding of Governmental (Medicare/Medicaid) and Non-Governmental (commercial) revenue cycle functions, denials management and payor appeals.
• Strong interpersonal, mathematical, analytical, computer, problem solving and writing skills; proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect and resolve payments from insurance companies by working with assigned payers and policies.
• Research and resolve payer denied/claims and analyze accounts for payment accuracy and contract compliance.
• Appeal denied accounts and contribute to denial prevention solutions.
• Assist leadership with planning, workflow management and daily follow-up activities.
• Maintain Epic workqueues and participate in staff training and cross-training as needed.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle teams and external providers to improve reimbursement and reduce AR growth.
