Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in account management within food & beverage or sustainability sectors.
  • Familiarity with quality/regulatory standards in food & beverage.
  • Experience managing multimillion-dollar accounts and cross-functional teams.

Job description

We're seeking an Account Manager – Food & Beverage to join the team!

In this role, you’ll lead strategic client relationships within the food and beverage sector—managing global projects, delivering tailored sustainability solutions, and driving multimillion-dollar account growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and proactive issue resolution
  • Build long-term client partnerships by understanding business goals and aligning solutions
  • Lead global and regional project execution, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and expand revenue across the client portfolio
  • Negotiate contracts, oversee budget planning, and deliver accurate financial forecasting
  • Analyze market and client trends to uncover risks and business development opportunities
  • Track and report KPIs, account health, and strategic growth metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams across regions to align resources and project outcomes
  • Support client communications through regular updates, reporting, and strategic reviews

Internal Leadership:

  • Align internal teams to client goals and operational milestones
  • Mentor and lead team members through 1:1s, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching
  • Drive collaboration, innovation, and accountability across all workstreams
  • Lead team meetings and problem-solving sessions to enhance service delivery
  • Present team performance reports and improvement strategies to leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Science, or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in account management within food & beverage or sustainability sectors
  • Familiarity with quality/regulatory standards in food & beverage
  • Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
  • Experience managing multimillion-dollar accounts and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic & international)
  • U.S. Citizenship or valid work authorization
